with QV 1d rose, 2 x QV 2d grey (SG.18,20) tied A56(K) underpaid by 3d to Southsea, Hants. B/stamped Montego Bay AP 7 85, Kingston AP 8 85, London and Portsmouth AP 27 85. Latter applying handstruck 6d to indicate double deficiency due. Cover and adhesives with faults.

pair QV 1d carmine-red (reg. fee), pair QV 4d chestnut (double UPU rate) pmk'd A/NO 7 89 via New York with Bailey's Bay K4a 12 A/DE 9 89 arrival duplex on large part of cover, some peripheral tears etc which intact would have been a spectacular franking.

from Goven Estate June 21 1815 rated 8, landed red BRISTOL/SHIP-LETTER. Ex ROBERTSON and MANNING.
The 8 rate-mark representing nearest to one-third packet rate 1/2d to Falmouth, plus 11d inland post Falmouth to Bristol (total 2/1d) ie 25 pence.
