superb as despatch datestamp in greyish-black for JA 4 82 on 3d (SG.39) cover to Kimberley, Diamond Fields. Flap removed clear of JA 9 82 arrival cds.
Putzel Volume 2 Page 78 confirms the existence of four other examples of this TRD. These are all found backstamping covers for JA 1 82 to JA 6 82 but with code L.

confirming no CGH KE7 1d adhesives had been ovpd HALF PENNY with two samples attached plus KE7 ½d with bogus ONE PENNY ovpt. Folded, some toning and splitting.

blue in oval cachet on lower flap of 1861 cover from San Francisco p. Electra to Parametta, N.S.W. The agent affixed the 2d and 2 x 1d adhesives for the onward 4d inland rate between ½oz and 1oz. Cover a little aged etc but believed to be the only example of this rare cachet.
