BERMUDA postal history
1832 faded archive backed entire written "Hamilton 14th Sept 1832" to Darrell & Smith, Halifax, N.S. with poor St. George's 14 SE 1832 fleuron (PM2), marked rate by weight "1¼oz" and with 1/8 changed "1N10".
Only four fleurons recorded on entires to Nova Scotia, all from the same faded correspondence

ST. GEORGES, Bermuda postmark
presumed forgeries, similar Type PM5, on QV 4d orange-brown CA wmk (SG.28a, Cat.£60 used) and QV ¼d on 1/-, the former showing smaller than normal dates slugs of "JUN 13", both strikes with tinge of blue in ink. Not previously seen.

(H1) B/JU 11 89 on normal watermark QV ½d stone Crown CC wmk (SG.19).
This cds also dated B/JU 11 89 also exists on the QV ½d stone INVERTED CC wmk (SG.19w)

A UNIQUE COMBINATION, Bermuda postal history
The second earliest adhesive cover from St. Georges with short-lived K1 "1" plus STG cds combination: 1866 local cover front (peripheral faults) to Mrs Reginald Smith, Olive Bank, Warwick with 1st printing QV 1d rose-red CC wmk (SG.1) tied short-lived K1 "1" with STG cds (P5) dated 15 MR 66 alongside.
Only 9 covers are currently recorded with K1 plus STG cds combination: one with 1d, four with 6d, four with 1/- adhesives. The earliest 1d cover with B/1 and STG cds (P5) combination is dated JY 21 67.

The short-lived K3 "2" duplex (Handstamp II) dated A/NO 20 80 on 50% top half cover to Warwick West b/stamped Hamilton B/NO 20 80 and very poor K3a "8" arrival.
This elusive Handstamp II recorded OC 21 1880 to DE 22 1880

1889 part cover with pair QV 1d carmine-red (reg. fee), pair QV 4d chestnut (double UPU rate) pmk'd A/NO 7 89 via New York to Bermuda with Bailey's Bay K4a 12 A/DE 9 89 arrival duplex, some peripheral tears etc, intact this would have been a spectacular franking.
